U13/U14/U15 Goalie Program of Excellence

The Program of Excellence (POE) is Hockey Canada's elite development and competitive program that provides players with exposure to international competition and the best high performance coaching in the country.
The HEO U14 Goalie Program of Excellence is an introductory level program offered by Hockey Eastern Ontario to start and educate young goaltenders on the Hockey Canada POE Pathway. This is NOT your typical goalie camp. The program runs over a single weekend (Friday - Sunday) and provides goaltenders on ice development sessions with HEO High Performance coaches and certified Hockey Canada instructors. The program also offers off ice sessions with experts in areas such as nutrition, physical training, mental training and social media.

The Program is designed to tackle the topics that elite Goalies will face, through both on Ice and Off Ice development sessions. It is designed introduce young goaltenders to the skills, concepts and techniques of the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence Goaltending Program.

The program is only open to players that played either Major Peewee, Minor and Major Bantam in the season proceeding the camp

Camp Registration Form

Cost per player is $250.00 + tax ($282.50) and Goaltenders receive the following:
     - approximatley 8 hours of on ice development and instruction
     - Hockey Canada goaltending instructors and High Performance coaches
     - off ice fitness testing
     - classroom sessions on nutrition, mental prep, social media and the POE pathway
     - POE T-shirt, shorts and ball cap
     - jersey and socks
     - meals and snacks

To register for the 2020 U15 Goalie POE please complete the Camp Registration Form and submit with payment to Jeff Robert, Development Programs Officer, Hockey Eastern Ontario
