Call for Nominations - HEO Board of Directors

June 2, 2025

Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) is the governing body for amateur hockey within Eastern Ontario. HEO is one of 13 Members of Hockey Canada and a not-for-profit corporation registered in the province of Ontario. HEO oversees Minor, Junior, Para and Special hockey programs. The HEO Board consists of seven (7) Directors, one President/Director and six Directors, each elected for two-year terms. Elections are staggered with three in odd years and four (including the President/Director) in even years.

HEO’s Nominations Committee is seeking qualified candidates to play a leadership role in the stewardship of Hockey Eastern Ontario’s mission “to create rewarding hockey experiences”.

The Nominations Committee calls for nominations for the position (3) Directors for two-year terms, commencing after the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Members. The three positions will be elected at HEO’s Annual General Meeting in July 2025 by HEO’s 14 voting members.

Hockey Eastern Ontario is committed to seeking greater diversity (differing views, ideas, life experiences, skills, and knowledge) in its Board and Staff operations, to better reflect the hockey community in which HEO operates.
